It appears as a slightly amber transparency of natural material in sheet and rod forms. A standout feature is its ability to withstand repeated steam sterilization, making it a mainstay in the medical and food industries. It maintains good mechanical and electrical properties over a wide temperature range, with a continuous use temperature of 174°C. PSU complies with food contact and biocompatibility standards such as ISO 10993.
