| PEEK (Polyetheretherketone) sheet and rod are high-performance thermoplastics known for an outstanding balance of heat resistance, mechanical strength, and chemical stability. These semi-crystalline materials can operate continuously at temperatures up to 260°C and exhibit excellent load-bearing capabilities even at elevated temperatures. They offer exceptional resistance to wear and abrasion, making them ideal for demanding friction and bearing applications. PEEK is inherently flame-retardant, achieving a UL94 V-0 rating without additives, and produces low smoke and toxic gas when burned. It also possesses super electrical insulation properties across a wide frequency and temperature range. Furthermore, it is highly resistant to a broad spectrum of chemicals and demonstrates excellent resistance to hydrolysis, even in high-pressure steam or hot water. These properties make PEEK a premier metal-replacement material in the most challenging environments across aerospace, medical, semiconductor, and automotive industries. |
