| PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) sheet and rod are renowned for their exceptional chemical resistance and extremely low coefficient of friction, which provides superior heat resistance and self-lubricating properties. This fluoropolymer can withstand a wide temperature range from -200°C to +260°C, maintaining its properties in both extreme cryogenic and high-temperature environments. It is virtually inert, resisting almost all industrial chemicals and solvents. PTFE is also an excellent electrical insulator with a low dielectric constant, which is stable across a wide frequency range. Additionally, it is non-flammable, meeting the UL 94 V-0 standard, and exhibits very good resistance to UV light and weathering. A key characteristic of PTFE is its high flexibility and very low surface energy, which results in excellent anti-adhesion properties. These combined features make PTFE indispensable in industries such as chemical processing, food and pharmaceutical manufacturing, electrical engineering, and aerospace. |
