| PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) sheet and rod represent a high-performance engineering plastic capable of withstanding extreme conditions. This material features exceptional thermal stability, maintaining mechanical properties at continuous service temperatures up to 240°C . PPS offers outstanding chemical resistance, withstanding most acids, alkalis, and organic solvents at elevated temperatures. The material is inherently flame retardant, achieving UL94 V-0 rating without additives, and exhibits excellent dimensional stability with low coefficient of thermal expansion . PPS also provides good electrical insulation properties even in high-temperature, high-humidity environments. These combined properties make PPS sheet and rod ideal for demanding applications in aerospace, automotive, electrical, and chemical processing industries where thermal performance and chemical resistance are paramount requirements. |
