| ULTEM 1000P Resin is an unreinforced amorphous Polyetherimide (PEI) powder. This powder is available with an average particle size (D50) of 350 micron. This physical form makes it highly versatile for non-injection molding processes while retaining the high-performance properties of PEI, such as thermal stability (Tg 217°C) and mechanical strength. The fine powder is suitable for various specialty manufacturing techniques, including compression molding, sintering, and rotomolding. It is also used as a feedstock for industrial coatings and as a reinforcing additive in composites or adhesives to enhance their thermal and mechanical properties. This grade opens up possibilities for creating high-performance parts and coatings where traditional melt-processing is not feasible. |
