Introduction
PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone) capillary tubing is a high-performance product known for its exceptional chemical compatibility and ability to withstand high pressures,are ideal for demanding fluidic applications. They feature very smooth internal surfaces that ensure excellent flow characteristics and very low carryover, which helps in maintaining the integrity of samples. Compatible with most organic solvents and standard chromatography systems, PEEK capillaries are extensively used in capillary HPLC and LC-mass spectrometry. Their robust design, which can include a stainless-steel coated layer for ultra-high pressure tolerance (e.g., up to 600 bar), provides a metal-free sample flow path, making them a reliable "lifeline" in bio-inert analytical systems.
